"I pride myself on building relationships with each one of my customers.
One of our goals at Kalberer Landscape is to develop continuity with our customer base. Our high retention rate allows me to believe we are achieving this goal. When we complete a landscape project our installations are guaranteed. This means that once I’m finished with an installation I will stop by seasonally to see if your new landscape needs trimming or cleaning. I want to leave your home knowing that you are satisfied with each projects outcome."
I have come from a long bloodline of entrepreneurs and since a young age becoming a business owner has been a dream of mine. Years ago, my grandfather built a machine shop with his brothers here in Rhode Island. Later on, my parents developed and ran their own printing business. As a teenager, I spent my summers working for numerous landscaping companies in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Over the years I worked my way through the ranks. I moved from wheel barreling mulch to string trimming on a lawn cutting crew. Later on, I was building entire landscape features. In my early twenties, I moved south from Massachusetts into Rhode Island. Here I became a foreman on a hardscapes crew. I soon realized, like many people do, that my skills and hard work could be going toward something that would allow me to build a future for myself. I could create my own company and perform high quality work at a competitive level. But like any service industry, I knew landscaping would be a highly competitive industry with many companies to choose from. I realized I needed a way to stand out from the crowd. I decided the best way to do this, would be to become a fully licensed and insured company. I purchased a liability coverage policy, gained a lawn care license, have workmens compensation, and a contractor’s license. From my experience working for other landscapers, I know that many companies fail to cover all the bases. Many companies not only fall short of protecting their employees but also their customers. Due to the recognition we have received from customers and local builders, I believe we have succeeded in setting ourselves apart.
Sincerely,
Travis Kalberer
